Introduction to GDPR for HR
This course led by Kim Bradford will introduce you to the General Data Protection Regulation, and by extension the Data Protection Act 2018, outlining what this law is and why it matters to HR professionals as well as the companies they work for.
You will learn what is the GDPR, why has the law changed, and why does it matter to individuals, companies, and HR professionals or HR analysts? The course also covers how and where you should look to implement changes within your day to day activities. Whether you’re new to people analytics or are experienced in running HR analytics projects, this course will help you understand the GDPR.
How to Use Statistics in your People Analytics Projects
This course led by Ben Teusch provides a practical guide on introducing statistical tests into a people analytics project and the steps to follow when working through your analysis.
The objective of this course is to provide you with some practical insights on how to think through the critical steps of a HR analytics project and to use statistical tests in both Excel and R. On completing this course, you will have a better understanding of how to get started with using statistics in your people analytics projects, and on how to move from Excel to using R for a multiple linear regression model as you learn the skills needed to be a HR analyst.
How to Create a Governance Model for People Analytics
In this course led by Jonathan Ferrar, you will learn how to create strong governance for your people analytics function and understand how to build the six different types of governance for people analytics.
Governance is the underpinning element of all HR analytics. It ensures the right people provide direction for work, that the structure and stewardship for managing data are appropriate and applicable to your organisation and that you are managing the risks associated with people analytics in a clear and proper manner. This course gives you a great model for HR analytics governance.
